The Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) joined the Spanish Network of Excellence in Cybersecurity Research (RENIC) this June. The University has done so through its institute VRAIN (Valencian Institute of Artificial Intelligence), the Distributed Real-Time Systems and Applications Group (GSATRD) and the Cybersecurity Research Group.
Both the institute and the two research groups have a long experience in the field of cybersecurity and have led multiple projects of international excellence in the area for decades.
Undoubtedly, the collaboration of these leading researchers with that of all RENIC members will generate synergies and increase the Spanish research potential in the area of cybersecurity.
